How to download and install

Downloading is possible after payment confirmation. (Make sure you have entered your email address during the order taking). An invoice with logins details to download is immediately sent to your email address.


MAXSEA TIME ZERO SOFTWARE INSTALLATION

Note: If MaxSea Time Zero is already installed on your computer, you can skip this paragraph.

Follow the procedure below in order to correctly install your MaxSea Time Zero Software. For an easy and convenient installation and activation of your MaxSea software, make sure you are connected to the Internet.

  • Download the software using the link provided in your confirmation email.

  • This link will redirect you to www.maxsea.com, My MaxSea section, log in with your username and password.

  • On the download section, select the configuration of your choice (the latest version with world map or the software only) and click on “dowload”.

  • When the download is complete, open (double click on) “MXTZv1.9.exe” .

  • Follow the on-screen instructions.

  • When the software installation is completed, launch MaxSea by double clicking on the “MaxSea Time Zero” shortcut located on the desktop.

  • Insert your serial number in the dedicated text box to activate the software. You will find this serial number in your confirmation email (the serial number begins with “T0”)

  • The activation process will start, simply follow the on-screen instructions.

Note: that you will not be able to use MaxSea Time Zero or install any data if you do not fully complete the product activation procedure

MAPMEDIA CHART DATA INSTALLATION

Follow the procedure below in order to correctly install your navigation charts data. For an easy and convenient installation and activation of your charts, make sure you are connected to the Internet.

  • Click on the link provided in your confirmation email to download the chart data.

  • On the download page, data are divided in several files in order to avoid download interruption errors.

  • You can choose to only download the chart data of your interest (e.g. your navigation area) or the whole pack: chart data, 3D data, standard satellite photos.

  • Click successively on the links in order to download the data.

  • If you download the files from the computer where MaxSea is installed, simply close MaxSea and save all the ZIP files in the “My Document” -> “My

  • MaxSea” -> “My downloaded Charts” folder.

  • Once all the files are downloaded in the “My Downloaded Charts” folder, open MaxSea Time Zero and follow the on screen instructions.

  • MaxSea will automatically unzip and install the files that are in the “My downloaded Charts”.

  • If a chart requires an Unlock Code (and if the computer is not connected to Internet) MaxSea will ask you to enter it when necessary. Those codes are located in your confirmation email.

  • If the computer is connected to Internet, MaxSea will automatically retrieve all the unlock codes.

Note: You can also install the charts manually (from an external drive for example). To do so, simply unzip the chart file (right click and choose “Extract All”) then double click on it. This will open MaxSea and copy the chart to the correct location. If you have multiple files to install, minimize MaxSea and double click on the other files.
